With the Wordpress mailing list plugin, you can create a global, hardcoded template into the software by editing two of the core files of the plugin itself. By doing this, you create a fixed template/layout which will be used for all HTML emails sent out via the plugin. Not just newsletters, but confirmation emails, subscription renewal emails, unsubscription notifications, etc…
