Installation
Installing the WordPress banner rotator plugin on your WordPress website is a rather simple process and is similar to that of most of the other WordPress plugins you might have installed in the past.
Download & Extract
First you need to download the ZIP package from the downloads management section on the Tribulant website after you have logged in with your account details. If you forgot your password, feel free to reset it and remember to whitelist support@tribulant.com in your email client.
In the downloads management section, you’ll obtain a ZIP archive named “wp-banners.zip”. Extract/decompress this archive on your computer in a location where you can easily find it. Upon extracting the archive, you’ll be presented with a single folder named “wp-banners” containing a number of files and sub-folders.

Upload & Permissions
With all the files and folders available as shown above, you are ready to upload the plugin to your server in order for it to be activated and used.
With your FTP application, navigate to the “wp-content/plugins/” folder of your WordPress installation. Upload the “wp-banners” folder to the “wp-content/plugins/” folder.
The plugin will make use of your “wp-content/uploads/” folder to upload image and flash banners. Ensure that your “wp-content/uploads/” folder is writable. If your “wp-content/uploads/” directory is writable, the plugin will automatically create a folder named “wp-banners” in the “uploads” folder by executing the “mkdir” command/function. All banners will be placed in this “wp-banners” folder.
Activate & Use
Once you have uploaded the “wp-banners” folder (earlier on extracted from the ZIP archive) to your “wp-content/plugins/” folder, the plugin is ready for activation and use.
In your WordPress dashboard, go to the “Plugins” section where you will see the plugin with the name “Banners”. To the right of the plugin, click the “activate” link/button in order to activate the plugin.
