Piping Step 4: Plugin Settings

With your email alias created, the last thing left to do is to tell the WordPress Newsletters plugin which email address to use and how to act when a bounce notification has been received.

Go to the “Settings” section of the plugin. The last box/panel named “Bounce Settings” contains three (3) configuration settings which you can change to suit your needs.

Configuration Settings

Subscriber delete on Bounce

This setting takes either Yes or No value. Set it to Yes in order to delete a subscriber from your database immediately when an email to the specified subscriber has bounced back.

Admin Notify on Bounce

By setting this to Yes, the plugin will send you (the administrator) an email notification when a bounce notification has been received.

Bounce Receival Email

This is the address of the email alias you created earlier on. Fill in the email address here
