2Checkout Product Setup
To start using the paid subscriptions feature of the Wordpress mailing list plugin, you’ll need to go to your 2Checkout vendor account and create a product for each of the mailing list subscriptions you’ll be providing to your users which is paid.
If you don’t have a 2Checkout account, you can sign up for one and start selling products online immediately, accepting credit cards, PayPal payments (without a paypal account), eChecks and much more. If you already have a 2Checkout account, continue reading and follow the instructions.
Go to your 2Checkout vendor account. Inside the “Products” > “Create” section, you can create a new product for a mailing list subscription. Fill in the fields accordingly and ensure that the product is a non-recurring, non-tangible sale. See the screenshot below.
With your 2Checkout product saved, it is ready to be used with the Wordpress mailing list plugin. Go back to the “Products” section in your 2Checkout administration panel. Find the product for the subscription and get the value of the product under the 2CO ID column. You’ll be using this numeric value inside the mailing list plugin when you create a mailing list and set it as paid.
