Discount Coupons

The discount coupons feature integrated into the WordPress shopping cart plugin can be turned on or off as needed and can be configured as well.

It gives you (as an administrator) the ability to create unlimited discount coupons, each with a unique code/string and distribute these codes so that users/customers whom purchase products from your online shop can apply these codes in order to receive a discount on their order.

In order to enable coupons, go to the “Discount Coupons” box in the “Settings” section of the plugin. Additionally, you can also specify whether or not a user/customer is allowed to apply multiple discount coupons per order.

With discount coupons enabled and one or more discount coupons stored in the plugin database, a small form will be displayed at the bottom of the shopping cart page, allowing users/customers to apply their discount coupon code(s) using the code you assigned. When a coupon code has been successfully applied by a user/customer, the discount(s) will be displayed to the user on the shopping cart page below the “Sub Total” row.
