5. Search Page

Add a shortcode: [wpcosearch] on a page that you need to be a search page. This page will then have a search box on where you can search products. Select the search page in the dropdown menu.

6. Update Content

You can choose from here whether or not to update post/page content as well or just titles and so on. You may wish to set this to “No” if you put a lot of custom work into the post/pages.

7. Default Post Type

Choose here either “Post” ,”Page” or “Custom Post” depending on how your shop is set up and what would suit your needs better. Note that for 50+ products, it is best to use posts as pages may begin to affect the site’s performance.

8. Image Post ID

This field allows you to specify a post ID which in turn tells WordPress which post to save images to which are uploaded through the media uploader button in the TinyMCE editor. You cannot leave this blank or delete the post which it relates to as this will cause image issues and problems with the uploader.
