Shopping Cart Widget

The shopping cart sidebar widget provides users/customers with an overview/summary of their current order on your website.

The shopping cart widget also allows you to make use of the Ajax add to basket feature which adds products from a product page or category page directly to the shopping cart using Ajax technology without refreshing the page. You will need to turn this on in the “Settings” section of the plugin though.

The widget displays the number of items in the cart, the total number of units for all items, the sub total for the order, shipping charges (if available), discount(s) (if available) and the total amount for the order.

Additionally, below the order details, a few links are displayed to help the user/customer navigate to the shopping cart, complete the order and lastly, empty the shopping cart if needed.

In case a user/customer has previously processed orders on your website, an orders history and a downloads management link will be displayed at the bottom of the widget. The downloads management link, of course, will only be displayed if the user/customer has any downloads available for digital products purchased.
